Tonality after the death of tonality.
This section is devoted to (the music of) the Dutch composer Simeon ten Holt. As a friend of my father, I had the privilege to get acquainted with his music as a teenager already and attend many of the premieres of his pieces in the Ruļnekerk (Ruin Church) in Bergen NH, the Netherlands.
Below I have collected various texts and resources on the composer and his compositions, mainly taken from the web, but also some texts from prints I kept at home. As Simeon ten Holt manifests himself not only as a brilliant composer, but also as a fabulous speaker and writer, many of his quotes are cited in the texts.
