The Asus W2W-7M027G notebook Although the Asus W2W arrives with Windows Vista pre-installed, the good news is that despite all the problems that have been reported with respect to running Linux on these kind of Asus laptops (including e.g. the Asus W2P), I got it up and running in a couple of evenings, including sound, wireless and Compiz fusion with AIGLX (using ATI's proprietary drivers though).
